Silicone liquid rubber is called Tin cure silicone rubber which is also called condensation-cure silicone mold rubber, these are high-tear silicone mold rubbers that are known as the “work horse” of the industry because of their performance and economy.
RTV2 silicone rubbers for molds are liquid or pasty silicone elastomers reticulating at room temperature. After the addition of appropriate catalyst they form a stable and not reversible compound characterized by high elasticity and mechanical resistance. Owing to their high chemical-mechanical properties combined with easy workability, the RTV2 silicone rubbers are suitable for making flexible moulds and matrices to reproduce, starting from an original model, hand-made articles of any kind and form, in different applicative sectors. Silicone moulds, owing to their anti-adherence features, allow an easy demoulding of models and assure extreme faithfulness in the reproduction of details.
Application of RTV-2 silicone liquid rubber

How to use the silicone rubber to make a mold
Step 1: Prepare and clean the master piece. Please make sure your original moulds clean and dry.
Step 2: Mixing part A and part B evenly. Take 100g of part A and add 2g of part B and mix the silicone rubber and curing agent evenly.
Step 3: Vacuum degassing, this step takes less than 10 minutes. Otherwise, it will cause a cross-linking reaction, and no further steps will be available.
Step 4: Pouring or brushing. After released the bubble, we can pour/brush the silicone rubber on the master piece.

Storage and Precautions of silicone liquid rubber:
RTV-2 silicone rubber for making art crafts, which is an environmentally-friendly liquid silicone product, is not easy to burn and can be stored and transported as non-hazardous goods. The shelf life of the product is about one year from the date of production. Inspection is required when exceeding the time limited. It can continue to be used in case of neither thickening nor deterioration.
