Silicone Compound for Stone Application/RTV-2 Silicone Rubber for Stone Casting

DESCRIPTION

Two Components Mold Making Silicone Rubber is generally named as two-part silicone rubbers which vulcanise, or cure, at room temperature. Part A is a dynamic liquid silicone/Part B is the curing agent (tin catalyst).


APPLICATIONS

Two Components Mold Making Silicone Rubber can be used for construction of moulds for gypsum, soap, candles, concrete, resin products, artificial (very lightweight) stone, wax or custom moulds;

Two Components Mold Making Silicone Rubber can be used for making decorative building moulds (cornice, column, balustrade, ceilling roses, pedestals, fountains, mantels, wall ornament, planter etc;



ADVANTAGES

Exceptional fluidity and good operability, easy to demold.
Cures at room temperature within 3-4 hours (assuming constant temp of 25 degrees C).
Good tensile and tear strength, low shrinkage (<0.3%)
High duplication levels or longevity
Good resistance to weather, temperature, aging, acid.
Long shelf life (12 months at least) if kept at constant temperatures.

STORAGE

Two Components Mold Making Silicone Rubber is an environmentally-friendly liquid silicone product, is not easy to burn and can be stored and transported as non-hazardous goods. The shelf life of the product is about 12 months from the date of production. Inspection is required when exceeding the time limited. It can continue to be used in case of neither thickening nor deterioration.
