Brushing-On RTV2 Tin Cure Liquid Silicone Mold Rubber For Resin Sculpture
Product Description
Tin Cure Liquid Silicone rubber is is generally named as two-part room temperature sulfurated silicone rubber, which features an exceptional fluidity and good operability. When mixed with 2% curing agent, they can still be operated within 30 minutes, but will be formed after 4-6 hours. With resistance to deformation, high temperature, acid and alkali, and expansion.

Instructions of Silicone Liquid Rubber
The procedure and instruction of brushing(eight steps):
Step 1 Handle the original mold
Choose a prefect original mold, Manually polish and smooth the model, clean the surface and dry it.
Step 2 Clay & mold-line
Choose the right parting mold-line,then it is better for us to draw the mold-line on the model.Put the fixed model on flat wooden board. Then cover one part of mold line with clay, and the other part is exposed . Coating a layer of mold release agent on the exposed part.
Step 3 Weight part A & part B
Weighting two parts in Electronic scale with mix ratio 100:2 or 100:5.
Step 4 Stirring evenly
Remember to mix part A and part B evenly
Step 5 Vacuum pumping
For releasing the air bubbles, after mixing evenly, put the mixture into vacuum pumping for 3-5 minutes
Step 6 First layer
Evenly brush the first layer of mixed silicon rubber on the model. it should not be too thick
Step 7 Second layer
Brush the second layer of silicon rubber after the first one is cured. Normally the second layer should be 3-5mm, Cover a gauze or cloth on it when the second layer’s cross linking reaction goes on, and use a brush to avoid any interstices. Evenly brush the third layer of mixed silicon rubber on the gauze or cloth
Step 8 Outer molding
Way 1:pouring
Way 2: brushing
Package of RTV-2 Silicone Liquid Rubber
Part A base silicone: 25kg/drum or 200kg/drum
Part B CA30 Curing Agent: 800g/bottle, 1kg/bottle
Storage & Shelf life
When the silicone rubber is stored at or below 25℃ (77℉) with the original unopened containers, Silicone Base and Curing agent have a usable life of 12 months from the date of production. After 12 months stock, please use the Stir machine to mix the Part A silicone for some minutes, then the silicone can be used again, no influence for other performance.
